WINNIPEG, MB: Omori Diamonds, a Winnipeg jeweller specializing in custom jewellery design and engagement rings, has announced its acquisition of a number of teal sapphires.

Teal sapphires are a rare gemstone, related to the more commonly known blue sapphire. They feature a blend of deep ocean blues and vivid greens, thanks to a mix of aluminum oxide, iron, and titanium.

The gems that Omori Diamonds has obtained come in a variety of different shapes, including ovals, emerald cuts, and hexagon cuts. Each teal sapphire is unique and can be set into custom engagement rings or other custom jewellery pieces.

Chris Omori, the co-owner of Omori Diamonds, commented on the importance of providing unique gemstones to his customers: “There’s a growing trend of people selecting gemstones instead of diamonds for their engagement rings. Our goal is to design and create timeless, beautiful custom pieces that bring joy to our customers,” said Mr. Omori. “Teal sapphires are a perfect example of the unique, rare gemstones that many customers are looking for. These sapphires are saturated with colour, and the cuts we’ve selected amplify that colour, allowing us to create truly marvelous jewellery. Sapphires possess incredible hardness, and their lack of cleavage makes them resistant to chipping or shattering. These teal sapphires are truly breathtaking, and they would make for a wonderful centrepiece to an engagement ring, or to any other style of custom jewellery a client may want to create.”
